MCP server
Start and follow Ellipsis sessions from Claude Code, Codex, or another MCP client.
Ellipsis hosts an MCP server at https://mcp.ellipsis.dev. Each tool calls one Agents API endpoint as you, so an agent on your machine can start a session, follow it, and send it follow-ups.
Connect a client
Any MCP client that supports OAuth connects with the same address. Add the server to Claude Code, then run /mcp in Claude Code and choose ellipsis to log in.
Add the server to Codex.
Then log in.
Logging in opens Authorize MCP in the dashboard. Choose the account, and the client gets a token that lasts 90 days. Sessions the client starts are attributed to you in that account. When the token expires, log in again.
Connect with an API key
A client can send an API key as a bearer token instead of logging in. Use this on a machine without a browser.
Tools
Each tool takes the endpoint's path parameters, query parameters, and body, and returns the endpoint's JSON response. An API error returns as a tool error with its status code and message.
